Types of work

Screens and formats

  1. 01

    Exhibition stands and brand activations

    e.g. VK × ChinaJoy stand

  2. 02

    Stage and event screens

e.g. MAX × VK Fest stage

  3. 03

    Building facades and large displays

e.g. MKB on a Moscow City tower

  4. 04

    Cylindrical and custom screen layouts

e.g. The birch trunk · the VK Fest truck

  5. 05

    Loops and supporting screen graphics

e.g. ChinaJoy tickers and side screens

These are different jobs: a ticker loop and a pixel-mapped stage take different time and files, so each format is scoped on its own specification.

    01

    Screen layout

The trunk is one screen: 28 flexible LED modules, four around and seven high, 3.5 m tall, inside a five-metre tree.

  2. From the flat master · its Gzhel segment · 1344 × 2304 px

    02

    Content design

All 28 modules play one flat master, 1344 × 2304 px at 60 fps, laid once around the trunk: a 137-second loop drawn in LED dots. Shown here is its Gzhel segment, a floral ornament that fills the trunk and thins out again.

Beyond the screens

Key visuals and print

When a launch needs more than screen content, its key visuals and large-format print can be part of the same job. For the HONGQI stand at SPIEF: an AI photo series of the Guoya and the 11 × 7 m printed backdrop the stand was built around, from generation and retouch to upscale and print prep.

FAQ

Before you send the layout

What screen specifications do you need?

The screen layout or pixel map, the resolution of every canvas, the playback format and frame rate your player expects, and how the screens sit on the stand or stage.

A drawing or a render is enough for a first creative estimate. The exact list of files is fixed once the technical specification is final.

Can you work with our AV or stand production team?

Yes. Your AV or stand team supplies the screen layout and the playback requirements; I design the content to them and prepare the files in the format they need.

Can you adapt existing campaign assets?

Yes: key visuals, logos, footage and brand guidelines can be the starting point. For the VK Fest truck, six artist announcements were each cut from one master into the side and rear screens.

What if the final screen layout is not ready yet?

We can start from the drawings or renders you have and agree a creative direction and a preliminary estimate.

The exact files, their sizes and the delivery dates are confirmed once the final specification arrives.

Is on-site support included?

No. The scope covers the content and the playback files to your specification; the screen hardware, installation and playback at the venue stay with your AV or stand team.
